The Kansas City complex features 140,000 square feet of gaming space, nine restaurants, live entertainment, an 18-screen movie theater, a children's complex, a video arcade and a 184-room hotel. When Ameristar - which lists 'innovative architecture' as the first item on its five-part corporate lexicon - was looking for the best quality on the market, they called Stromberg. Ameristar had purchased the property in 2000 and was making an investment in quality. For the 2002 expansion of the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, splendor was a stipulation.
